As 2010 comes to a close, we wanted to let you know the results from our first “Charity Tour of Homes.” As we are all aware, the economy and the building industry are going through some very difficult times. One bright spot for many of us this year was the “Charity Tour of Homes.” Six new projects were started and built due in large part to discounts and incentives that you, our preferred vendors, provided. Over $8,000,000 was spent on the homes and that was money that the Nashville economy would not have generated without the “Charity Tour of Homes.”

Over $17,000 in tickets was sold and all that money was donated back to the local charities selected by the individual homeowners. 6,000–7,000 people went through the homes. They were able to see, touch, and experience your products and services!

Many of the builders that were a part of the “Charity Tour of Homes” are working on new leads for projects that will begin in 2011.

These leads were cultivated by the exposure from the tour. Because of all of you and all of us, as builders, working together, we were able to create a great event and a bright spot in the local economy as well as help many needy people throughout the middle Tennessee area. We hope this will be an annual event and are excited about the possibilities for the 2011 “Charity Tour of Homes.” The holiday season is about giving and for the 2010 “Charity Tour of Homes,” you gave and for that we thank you! We wish you great success in the coming New Year!
